Integrations Engineer

Intuety is a growing tech company striving to improve risk assessments and corporate memory across construction and other heavy industry. Our innovative AI powered solution is changing how large enterprise organisations approach corporate memory and risk assessment creation. Intrinsic to our growth and success is the ability to integrate with software across the B2B enterprise landscape. We are looking for a Software engineer with experience in software integration and open API development to accelerate our expansion across clients, sectors and regions.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer at Intuety, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our Application API. You will collaborate closely with other software engineers and data scientists to deliver high-quality, scalable and maintainable solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Active participation in design and architecture discussions, providing technical guidance, and ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Developing and enhancing our API product for both internal and external consumption.
  • Writing efficient, modular, and testable code that meets high-quality standards.
  • Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Providing technical guidance and knowledge sharing with junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Participating in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure consistency across the team.
  • Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and other technical challenges.
  • Writing unit and integration tests using Jest and other testing frameworks to ensure software reliability.
  • Utilizing Docker and Kubernetes for containerization, deployment, and orchestration of applications.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging issues across the software stack and providing timely resolutions.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation within the team.

Experience

As this role is focused on development of third party integrations, we are looking for engineers with the following experience:

  • Implementation of Node.js Restful APIs for live customer facing environments.
    • Experience with python API frameworks a plus,
  • Integration with enterprise third party APIs. Specific experience with Autodesk construction cloud, and Microsoft Graph API a plus but not required
  • Writing clear API documentation for generation of OpenAPI/Swagger documentation

Senior Data Scientist

Intuety.io are changing the way that companies collate, retain, important knowledge and experience. Using advanced Natural Language processing and AI methods Intuety has changed the way companies in the build environment write and manage risk assessments and safety documentation.

Intuety are now looking for a Data Scientist to join our growing team within our engineering department as we expand our suite of tools and features, and expand in to exciting new fields within the build environment and new geographic markets. We face a number of challenges in the areas of natural language processing, document processing, and data management and recall. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research and/or industrial roles building AI and data systems for organisations. Intuety makes real products for real users and the ability to product maintainable, production ready code would be of huge benefit to anyone joining the team. Joining a small startup, you will be expected to work with a high level of autonomy to produce outcomes key to business success. The successful candidate will be adaptable, resilient to change, and able to propose solutions to difficult problems in AI, Machine Learning and Natural Language processing.

As a Data Scientist at Intuety, you will play a pivotal role in the training and deployment of ML models as well as integration in to real world products. Our models span our suite of tools for both internal use and external customers, and include models and knowledge bases for classification, data cleaning and ingestion, text generation, natural language interaction, forecasting and analytics. You will collaborate closely with other software engineers and data scientists to deliver high-quality, scalable and maintainable solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design, develop, and deploy NLP models and algorithms to analyse large-scale text data.
  • Preprocess and clean text data to prepare it for analysis, including tokenization, stemming, lemmatization, and entity recognition.
  • Implement and fine-tune machine learning models for various NLP tasks such as text classification, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, topic modelling, and language generation.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights from text data.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to ensure the integration of NLP solutions into existing data pipelines and systems.
  • Work closely with product managers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Continuously research and stay updated with the latest advancements in NLP and machine learning to apply best practices and innovative approaches.
  • Communicate findings and insights through effective data storytelling, visualizations, and presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ensure the ethical and responsible use of data and NLP technologies in all projects.

Required Skills :

  • Demonstratable experience with Machine learning and NLP.
  • Experience with the application, deployment and transfer learning of open source LLMs
  • Development of training algorithms and management of training datasets
